AI projects now account for 30% of Linnify's revenue, up from less than 1% in 2023.

The change marks a sharp shift in the Romanian-founded company's business mix as it expands work on autonomous software systems for clients in the US and Europe. Linnify, which has operations in Austin and engineering teams in Romania, has 10 AI agent projects in production for six clients.

Those projects span real estate, education, pharmaceuticals and healthcare. The company defines AI agents as software systems that carry out multi-step business processes within existing workflows, rather than acting only as chat interfaces.

One of the larger deployments is for a German software provider serving property management businesses. Two AI agents are integrated into an enterprise resource planning platform to support invoice processing and bank reconciliation.

The system operates across a network serving more than 400 property managers and about 300,000 residential units. It processes about 100,000 invoices and 700,000 banking transactions each month.

According to Linnify, data extraction accuracy in that project rose from about 70% to 96%, while transaction mapping accuracy increased from 75% to 95%.

US expansion

The US now generates about 30% of Linnify's revenue. The company opened its Austin subsidiary in 2023, and the city serves as its North American base.

Its active US clients are spread across education, healthcare, energy and hospitality. One American project is a virtual reading tutor for an education technology platform aimed at children aged three to seven who are learning to read in English.

More than 200,000 children use that product, according to the company. Another US project uses agentic AI in a training setting to simulate workplace interactions and let users practise decision-making and communication.

Founded in 2016, Linnify has shifted from broader digital product development into AI engineering and enterprise automation. Product strategy, AI engineering and agent evaluation remain centred in Cluj-Napoca, while Austin handles North American business development and client relationships.

Linnify also holds Select Partner recognition with Anthropic, OpenAI and Google Cloud, placing it among service providers building and deploying systems with access to major AI model ecosystems.

Governance focus

Alongside client work, Linnify is developing a model-agnostic AI agent evaluation and governance platform that is in private beta. The product is being tested with organisations in the pharmaceutical, education and real estate sectors.

The platform is designed to track agent executions and measure response accuracy, consistency, errors, hallucinations, operating costs and latency. Organisations using the system can set assessment standards with their own business experts rather than relying only on criteria from model providers.

That reflects a broader issue for companies moving AI tools into core operations, particularly in regulated or data-sensitive industries. Once systems are used in production, businesses need to monitor how often they fail, how performance changes over time and whether outputs remain consistent as usage grows.

For software companies such as Linnify, this has created an additional market beyond building AI applications: the controls, reporting and oversight needed when AI systems handle operational tasks at scale.

The revenue figures show how quickly that market has developed for Linnify. AI projects represented about 5% of revenue in 2024 before rising to around 30% in 2026, according to the company.

The pace of change also suggests demand has shifted from early experimentation to deployment within routine business processes. In Linnify's case, that includes invoice handling, transaction reconciliation, training systems and educational tools rather than consumer-facing chatbots alone.

Linnify said its next area of growth is helping enterprises evaluate, control and scale AI systems as part of their core operations.
