Bitget unveils GetClaw, a download-free AI trading bot

Thu, 12th Mar 2026

Bitget has launched GetClaw, an installation-free autonomous AI trading agent that provides real-time market insights and trading signals across the exchange and several messaging platforms.

Bitget describes GetClaw as the first product of its type to work without downloads or configuration. Activation takes seconds and does not require users to manage infrastructure.

GetClaw is built on the OpenClaw framework, which Bitget frames as part of a broader shift in AI from prompt-based systems to systems that take action based on continuous observation.

"Trading has always been about speed and clarity, but the tools traders rely on often require hours of setup. GetClaw changes that by making intelligent agents immediate and accessible," said Gracy Chen, CEO of Bitget. "The next phase of trading will be shaped by systems that observe markets continuously and assist users in real time, and that's exactly what we're building at Bitget."

Market monitoring

Once activated, GetClaw monitors market activity and a user's portfolio exposure. It reviews funding rates, volatility shifts, and liquidation risks, and tracks macro developments and narratives emerging across the crypto ecosystem.

The agent sends real-time alerts when it identifies signals it deems relevant. It also adjusts its responses over time based on a user's trading behaviour, including position preferences, risk tolerance, and historical patterns.

The launch reflects broader interest in automation in crypto trading, where many participants use analytics tools and algorithmic strategies to react quickly to fast-moving markets. Exchanges have also expanded the number of products available to retail traders, increasing demand for tools that simplify monitoring and decision-making.

Multiple channels

Users can interact with GetClaw through the Bitget App, as well as via Telegram, Discord, and WhatsApp. The agent is designed to operate across these environments, with signals and interactions available in messaging services and inside the exchange.

Rollouts across these entry points will happen in phases, according to Bitget. The agent also integrates with Bitget Agent Hub and is expected to expand to other social channels.

The approach aims to meet traders where they already spend time. Messaging apps have long served as distribution channels for market commentary, trading groups, and signal services. Bitget's model places an automated agent inside those workflows while still linking back to exchange activity.

Agent Hub

GetClaw is the first fully integrated agent built on Bitget's Agent Hub, the company said. Agent Hub is described as AI trading infrastructure that connects AI systems directly to live market data and execution tools.

Bitget said the platform provides standardised trading functions that AI models can use for strategies, analysis, and execution within a unified environment. This structure suggests Agent Hub is intended as a foundation for additional agents and related services.

Security design

Bitget said GetClaw uses a multi-layer isolation model that separates identity verification, memory storage, permission access, and trading credentials. The goal is to protect accounts while the agent operates autonomously.

Security remains a central issue for AI-driven trading features, given the risks of credential exposure, account takeover, and unintended execution. Bitget did not disclose technical implementation details beyond its description of the isolation model.

Broader product scope

Bitget describes itself as a "Universal Exchange", offering crypto assets, derivatives, and tokenised traditional financial instruments. The company says it serves more than 125 million users and provides access to more than 2 million crypto tokens, along with tokenised stocks, ETFs, commodities, FX, and precious metals.

Bitget says it operates across 150 regions. It also cites partnerships with LALIGA and MotoGP, and says it works with UNICEF on blockchain education, with a target of reaching 1.1 million people by 2027.

The web version of GetClaw will go live tomorrow, Bitget said. The company expects the mobile app version to follow at the end of March, and plans to provide further updates as development progresses.
