Syspro partners with Nuvei for ERP payment processing

Syspro has partnered with Nuvei to add payment processing to its ERP platform for manufacturers and distributors.
The integration lets Syspro customers take and manage customer payments within the same system they use for sales orders, accounts receivable and finance workflows. Available through the Syspro Marketplace, the service extends Syspro's PayThem Payment Gateway with Nuvei's payment processing network.
Manufacturers and distributors have often handled payments outside their main operational software, leaving finance teams to reconcile transactions manually and move between systems. The new setup is intended to connect payment collection more closely to day-to-day business processes inside the ERP environment.
When a sales order is created in Syspro, payment processing, accounts receivable updates and cash flow reporting can all be handled within the same platform. The integration is designed to reduce manual posting after payment and give finance and operations teams an up-to-date view of cash position.
Payment workflow
Users will be able to process payments in real time, update accounts receivable records automatically and manage payment data directly within the ERP system. The integration also supports reserving funds when an order is created, a step intended to improve credit control and limit exposure to non-payment.
Nuvei's network adds broad geographic reach. Syspro users will be able to accept payments in 150 currencies across more than 200 markets, with support for business-to-business payment methods including ACH and bank transfers.
The service also uses a hosted payment page for transactions that are PCI-DSS compliant. Customers will also have a self-service payment option, which could reduce the time finance teams spend chasing invoices and processing collections manually.
For Syspro, the move adds a financial workflow directly into software that has traditionally focused on manufacturing and distribution operations. The company serves mid-sized businesses and has positioned the integration as a way to bring payment collection into the same software environment used to run production, inventory, sales and financial records.
"Our customers want solutions that reflect how their businesses actually run," said Johan du Toit, SVP Strategic Growth at Syspro.
He said payment functions have often remained separate from ERP platforms in these sectors. "Payments are a critical part of that, but they've often been disconnected from the ERP. This partnership brings them back into the core system, helping customers collect funds faster, reduce manual effort, and operate with greater control," du Toit said.
Sector focus
The partnership targets two industries where order management, invoicing and receivables are closely tied to the movement of physical goods through supply chains. In manufacturing and distribution, delays in collecting funds can affect working capital, while fragmented payment data can slow finance teams trying to reconcile orders with invoices and receipts.
By embedding payment processing inside ERP, the companies are trying to address that operational gap. Rather than treating payment as a separate final stage, the model ties it directly to order creation and receivables management.
For Nuvei, the agreement is part of a broader push to place its payment services inside the software platforms businesses already use to manage finance and operations. The company, which describes itself as a global fintech group, has been expanding its role in embedded payments across enterprise software.
"For manufacturers and distributors, payments need to operate as part of the business, not as a disconnected process," said Phil Fayer, chair and chief executive officer of Nuvei.
He said the partnership places Nuvei's payment infrastructure inside a core system used daily by these businesses. "By partnering with Syspro, we're bringing our global payments infrastructure directly into the ERP systems these businesses rely on every day. That means they can operate across markets with the local performance, visibility, and control they need to scale," Fayer said.
Nuvei is listed as Syspro's preferred payment partner in the Syspro Marketplace, where existing users can activate the integrated payment functions within their ERP environment. Payments, reconciliation and cash flow reporting will sit alongside orders and financials in one system.
