Alteryx tops USD $1 billion ARR as AI workflows surge
Alteryx reports it has surpassed USD 1 billion in annual recurring revenue and that customers now run more than 380 million automated workflows on its platform.
It announced the milestone alongside updates to Alteryx One, which it positions as a single platform that links data preparation, analytics, and automation. Alteryx says organisations are moving from AI trials to broader use across business functions, increasing the focus on data quality and repeatable processes.
Industry research cited by Alteryx points to rising investment alongside persistent concerns about data. The company says 89% of enterprises plan to maintain or increase AI spending in 2026, while 28% report limited or no confidence in the accuracy and quality of their data. It adds that 49% of leaders rank well-governed and accessible data as the top requirement for AI to reach its potential.
Platform focus
Alteryx One centres on workflow automation that captures business logic and data lineage. It includes governance controls designed to keep outputs explainable and auditable. Alteryx says this approach becomes more important as AI systems move beyond generating analysis and begin taking actions through automation.
The company also highlighted changes to packaging and licensing. Customers are upgrading to a simplified edition-based pricing model, which Alteryx says makes advanced AI and automation features easier to access. The platform connects to enterprise data sources, AI models and business applications, according to the company.
The CEO framed the shift as both a risk-management and productivity issue.
"As AI moves from generating insights to taking action, the stakes fundamentally change," said Andy MacMillan, CEO, Alteryx. "When automation becomes agentic, inconsistency is no longer just inefficient. It becomes an enterprise risk. AI requires a governed and repeatable logic layer. Without that foundation, organizations don't just move faster - they scale risk faster than productivity. Alteryx is purpose-built for this next phase, giving enterprises the control, transparency, and confidence to operationalize AI, and giving lines of business the flexibility they need to adapt and change."
Workflow growth
Alteryx says customer usage has increased over the past two years. It reported more than 380 million automated workflows executed in 2025, up from more than 260 million in 2023. The company linked the growth to a shift away from isolated experiments and toward automation that organisations can apply consistently across departments.
The platform has also gained new generative AI capabilities, according to Alteryx. The company says users can interact with data through natural language, speed up model development and embed AI-derived outputs into automated workflows. It adds that governance features remain in place so organisations can maintain visibility and compliance alignment as they add AI-driven processes.
Ecosystem moves
Alteryx also pointed to ecosystem and community activity as part of its strategy. The company says it has more than 8,000 customers globally. It marked 10 years of its community programme in 2025, and membership has grown to more than 750,000 people worldwide. Alteryx describes the community as a channel for sharing workflows, solutions and best practices.
Alexander Abi-Najm of Aimpoint Digital, who is also an Alteryx ACE, said long-time users can see the pace of change.
"Alteryx is moving fast, and it's exciting to be part of the journey," said Abi-Najm. "The energy around product innovations and the momentum across the Alteryx One platform is apparent. As a longtime active member of the Alteryx community, it's great to see these tools evolve and expand, making it easier than ever for users to solve complex problems, share insights, and drive real impact across organisations."
Alteryx also says it has expanded its cloud data platform ecosystem and deepened its partnership with Google Cloud. The work includes access to cloud-scale data for analytics and AI projects running in cloud environments, according to the company.
Separately, Alteryx introduced a refreshed brand identity to reflect its focus on a unified platform for analytics and automation, with Alteryx One as the central product line.
MacMillan said governed automation is becoming more critical as organisations deploy AI more widely and push workflows into operational settings.
